    Use program records

    Overview

Create program records for operational evidence that belongs to a specific program instance and follow your organization data policy.

    Where to find it

Open Nonprofit workspace > Programs & Activities > Programs. Select a program for details, or select a program instance for beneficiaries, cohorts, inventory, distribution logs, money, funders, institutions, records and settings.

    How it works

    1. Open the intended program and distinguish the reusable program definition from a delivery instance.
    2. Select the instance and operational area named in the overview.
    3. Enter information against the correct date, person, partner, inventory item or funding record.
    4. Save once and review the program-instance summary for the result.

    Important details

Program and program-instance records serve different purposes: the program defines the ongoing service model; an instance represents a delivery period and owns operational records such as beneficiaries, cohorts, inventory and distributions.

If something does not look right

    1. Confirm the signed-in profile and current workspace shown in the page header.
    2. Capture the page address, time and exact visible error.
    3. Do not include passwords, API keys, bank details or full card data.
    4. Ask GoodAction Support when the expected control remains unavailable or the saved result differs from this article.
