    Choose the right GoodAction workspace

    Overview

Use the workspace that owns the work: Social for personal impact, Nonprofit for organization operations, and Enterprise or Company Serve for company programs.

    Where to find it

Use Social for personal participation, Nonprofit for organization operations, Enterprise for company administration, and Company Serve for employee participation.

    How it works

Start with the owner of the work. Social is for your own participation. Nonprofit is for an organization's operational records. Enterprise is for a company CSR program. Company Serve is for employees taking part in company opportunities.

    • Social: Impact Identity, stories, Discover, communities, chats, connections, volunteering, donations, events, profile, badges and personal impact.
    • Nonprofit: programs and activities, events and check-in, fundraising, supporters and Contacts, volunteers, partnerships, organization setup and impact reporting.
    • Enterprise: company Serve opportunities, nonprofit partners, employees, stories, impact, community and program settings.
    • Company Serve: employee-facing company opportunities, participation and company impact activity.
    1. Check the workspace name in the header.
    2. Use Switch Profile if the current profile is not the owner of the work.
    3. Do not use a nonprofit fundraising, Contacts CRM or organization payment screen for an enterprise task.
    4. Do not use an enterprise admin screen to create a nonprofit event; enterprise admins add a partner's published opportunity to Company Serve.

    Important details

Use GoodAction sign-in and recovery controls only. Never share passwords, recovery codes or active sessions. Profile switching changes the current workspace context; check the header before editing data.

If something does not look right

    1. Confirm the signed-in profile and current workspace shown in the page header.
    2. Capture the page address, time and exact visible error.
    3. Do not include passwords, API keys, bank details or full card data.
    4. Ask GoodAction Support when the expected control remains unavailable or the saved result differs from this article.
